Planoform launches showroom with Italian design brands

Planoform, Swedish agency for Binova, Lema and Agape, launches its new showroom with focus on Italian quality design. Trendgruppen arranged a press show to present the new showroom. The three Italian design brands has their focus on three areas; Binova offers smart kitchen solutions; Lema offers storage solutions with high quality and a distinct design language and Agape offers an unrivaled bathroom experience.

The official opening of Planoform’s showroom was celebrated with selected guests later on that evening with great success.

Royal Copenhagen opens store and café in MOOD Stockholm

Royal Copenhagen is launching a new concept in Sweden with a combined store and café in the new mall MOOD Stockholm. The concept offers customers a unique experience with all dishes being served on Royal Copenhagen’s famous and high-quality porcelain with the ability to at the same time purchase Royal Copenhagen’s products in the store. Royal Copenhagen’s new store serves typical Danish dishes and together with its wine and Champagne bar it offers a truly unique experience.

Alessi launches flagship store

The Italian design brand Alessi has opened a flagship store in the new mall MOOD Stockholm. A press launch was arranged to present the flagship store to journalists and press. The flagship store carries all three subdivisions of Alessi; A di Alessi, Alessi and Officina Alessi. With its new flagship store Alessi further strengthens its identity as a premium design brand as well as providing knowledge and unique design products to its customers.

Trendgruppen’s yearly press day

For the second year in a row Trendgruppen invited journalists to its yearly press day. This year’s press day took place at the well-renowned kitchen manufacturer Kvänum’s showroom in central Stockholm and spring news from Alessi, Dornbracht, Kosta Boda, Kvänum, LEKA, Nordiska Galleriet, Officeline, Orrefors and Royal Copenhagen were presented. Roy Fares, Pastry Chef of the Year 2010, inspired the journalists with his delicious pastries and his take on upcoming trends in his business.

NK Inredning Invites the Extraordinary of Ordinary

During Stockholm Design Week, NK invited to a special evening in the company of designers Piet Hein Eek, Tom Dixon, Inga Sempé, Wästberg and TAF. It was a celebration to their latest pieces and an opportunity to gain insight into their remarkable talents. It was a wonderful evening with champagne, canapés and music by the Serenades.

Unexploited Spaces – a Beckmans Installation at Berns

Students from Beckmans School of Design presented their installation “Unexploited Spaces” at Berns during Stockholm Design week. It is an installation that’s intended to give new perspectives on objects and phenomena’s around us. The installation is open from February 7th.
